Greg Boyer - trombone/arranger

Greg Boyer was formally introduced to music when he took up alto sax at ten. He eventually took to tuba & trombone and played in the St. Mary's College jazz band at sixteen. Greg soon joined George Clinton's P-Funk All-Stars (a.k.a Parliament / Funkadelic) with whom he would be a part of for the next 19 years as trombonist & horn arranger.
While he has been a member of Prince & the NPG Band, he has also toured/played with Bootsy Collins, Maceo Parker, Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers, Hank Williams, Jr., Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stanley Clarke, Richard Smallwood, Buddy Guy and countless others.
Greg plays a medium bore Amrein Schneider no. 9 and a Todd Clontz mouthpiece
