Ferg began playing in bands from an early age and performed with many professional and working bands throughout his teens before becoming a professional trombonist himself. He enjoys playing and composing Jazz, Funk and Drum and Bass and collaborates and works regularly with bands and musicians from those genres. Through his work as a teacher he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience to the next generation of musicians.
