BOB SANDERS

Bob's teachers included Don Kimble, Jeff Reynolds, Robert Simmergren and Roy Main. His professional career began at the age of twenty with the Disneyland Band. After three years, steady employment was left behind in pursuit of a freelance career. Thereafter he stayed busy performing hither and yon in the greater Los Angeles area, including 26 years with the Pacific Symphony, 24 years with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, various soundstages and pits and of course a decade or so in Hoyt Bohannon's garage on Tuesday nights. He is presently retired from trombone performance but teaches the occasional student.
